Understanding Sacred Sound Healing

Is Sound Healing a new healing modality?

Sound Healing is not a New-Age trend or contrived ‘woo-woo’. Using sound and vibration for healing, transformation, and expanding consciousness can be traced back to ancient times. These ancient traditions teach that illness is a symptom of imbalance, or dissonance rather than resonance.

Every wisdom tradition throughout the ages has used the tenets of vibration for healing and heightened states of consciousness, from Hermetic philosophers, Chinese acupuncturists, Hindu sages, Shamans and Buddhists monks to name a few. Sound energy healing has been utilized for centuries to raise consciousness, induce altered states, as well as improve overall health and wellness.

Ultrasound treatments have been used in hospitals for years now. And we are presently witnessing the popularization of Sound Healing as many are seeking alternatives to pharmaceuticals and invasive allopathic treatments. Sound Healing is moving more and more into the mainstream and being accepted as the valid and powerful method to wellness and overall life enhancement that it is and always has been.

How does Sound Healing work?

Sound Healing has a scientific basis in neuroscience and physics, but some aspects defy explanation. Sound has both a psychoacoustic affect and a vibroacoustic affect on us.

Quantum physics confirms that everything is vibration. Disease patterns such as cancer, diabetes, circulation issues, chronic fatigue, depression, anger, PTSD all have a vibration. They represent “out of tune” vibrations within the body and its bioenergetic field.

Sound waves from healing instruments travel from the outer ear throughout the body via the vagus nerve, impacting brain waves, respiratory rate and heart rate. Sound permeates our body in a multitude of angles and directions, affecting every part of our body, all the way down to a cellular level. It can influence neurotransmitters and neuropeptides, which in turn regulate the immune system, thereby activating the inner healer that resides within each of us.

Sound healing works through the principles of Entrainment and the Universal Laws of Harmonic Resonance. Vibrational frequencies from the gongs and singing bowls can entrain our biological systems to function more homeostatically. It is an interactive dance between them. The vibrational waveforms synchronize/harmonize our energy field. Vibration that is in harmony lifts us up and enhances our life force energy.

The sound from a gong, for example, has the ability to cut through mental chatter and quickly create a meditative state and deep relaxation. Meditative states have repeatedly alleviated or reversed many disorders and dis-ease states. Many studies show that meditation helps relieve high blood pressure, stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and chronic pain.

Singing bowls, gongs, and ting shaws are said to recreate the original harmonic frequency and consequently stimulate the body to rediscover its own harmonic frequency. By making the body resonate with the frequencies of the instruments (sympathetic resonance) the body’s vibrations are stimulated and amplified (constructive interference).  As a result, it is able to tune into and reestablish its own unique frequency.

Vibrations move atoms into patterns of form. Humans are vibrational beings made up of atoms that are constantly changing form. When using pure conscious intention with various vibrational frequencies, one can reconfigure matter from one form to another. Energy follows intent. Sonic energy is a type of wave that can transmit the healing intention to the recipient. These pure healing intentions can reach all levels of our being.

Why is Sound Healing effective?

Sound Healing uses the power of organized rhythm and harmony within the sounds/vibrations to gently facilitate and support self-healing and personal transformation. Sound waves instantly influence the movement of energy within our bodies and engage our own innate healing capacity.

As human beings, we are comprised mainly of fluid. So sonic waves more easily ripple throughout our body, deeply massaging our tissue and organs. The gentle pulsing of the sound waves give us a soft and subtle molecular massage-all the way down to our cellular memory, releasing blockages and traumatic imprints, while simultaneously creating a profound sense of peace and relaxation throughout the body.

Certain types/qualities of sound has the ability to calm the entire physiological and energetic system giving it a chance to become self-aware of any vibrational distortions/dissonances and reset/reharmonize itself.

When we get down to the heart of the matter, Sonic Therapies are effective because they have the ability to address the root cause of an ailment or issue on the vibrational level. Thereby, creating balance and alignment within our entire vibrational body, chakras, and bioenergetic field.

What are some potential therapeutic benefits of sound?

More recently, research has linked music to a number of health benefits, from boosting immune function and lowering stress levels, to improving the health of premature babies.

Over the years, thousands of scientific studies have proven the health benefits of meditation. It is really indisputable at this point. In terms of sound baths, researchers have found that sound waves affect the human nervous system and decrease blood pressure more than traditional meditation does.

There is also new research on the benefits of binaural beats, which is when two tones at slightly different frequencies are played at the same time. This effect helps synchronize and harmonize the hemispheres of the brain.

An increasing number of mainstream medical and education institutions around the world use healing effects of Himalayan singing bowls and gongs as a vital process of cancer treatment.

Deepak Chopra Centre in California has found that the sound of Himalayan singing bowls is chemically metabolized in the body as the endogenous opioid, which works as an internal medicine and pain reduction.

Why is it called "Sacred"?

It is called “Sacred Sound Healing” because of Kate’s approach to Sound Healing. Kate holds deep reverence and great respect for this process and these healing instruments that come from ancient traditions and have been used for thousands of years in spiritual practices and healing.

Her energy has been infused into her personal instruments through the countless sessions and personal practice. She wishes to maintain their high energetic integrity. So for this reason, it is of paramount importance that our guests NOT touch/play the instruments.

Kate extensively prepares the space prior to every session with intention and ritual-creating a sacred space for you that is clean, pure, and aligned with the highest most benevolent vibrational support. Out of respect for this, we kindly ask for your consideration and honoring this with mutual resonance. Thank you for your understanding! It is greatly appreciated!

Who is Sound Healing for?

Who is a Sound Healing session for?

Sound Healing is highly beneficial both for those who seek help with restoration of health/wellness and for those who seek support in maintaining or expanding upon their current state of well-being. You don’t have to have an illness to benefit from Sound Healing. Perhaps you desire a more relaxed state of being, a sense of calm and inner peace.

Positive shifts can occur for those desiring to go further into their exploration of Self and for those seeking greater awareness/consciousness. This is a great experience for boosting your creativity and receiving insight into creative solutions as well. Many experience a deeper connection to Self and also to what we often call a Higher Power (Universe/Spirit/Source/God).

For more information see the FAQs above: How can Sound Healing help me? and What are some potential therapeutic benefits of sound?

I am not a spiritual person, can I still attend the session?

Of course you can! Really, sound healing is for anyone who is curious and wishes to experience it. It is not associated with any religion and not only for spiritual people. The frequencies will have a positive effect on everyone, regardless of their personal belief systems. (Although believing that it has the potential to help you makes it even more powerful). There’s actually a scientific basis behind sound healing with research and studies to back it up.

Why are kids below the age of 10 not allowed in a group Sacred Sound Bath?

So as to not cause disturbances to the participants, parents included, we ask that no children below the age of ten attend a group Sacred Sound Bath. Children under age 10 are certainly allowed in private sessions, however in group sessions they are not, out of respect and consideration of other guests.

Attending a Sacred Sound Bath

What is it like to attend a Sacred Sound Bath?

Every practitioner has their own particular style, in terms of presentation and performance, energy, etc. so not all Sound Baths are the same.

This is how Kate’s group sessions are structured:

After a brief introduction, the participant is invited to lie down on a mat/mattress, typically on one’s back, in an open and receptive state. The body can be supported by pillows and bolsters as needed. Blankets are available if one gets cold during the session. Eye covers are used to help facilitate an inward experience without the interference of light and outside visual stimulation.

Kate will start by leading a guided meditation supported by sound to help bring the participants into a deep state of relaxation. Participants are invited to set an intention for themselves as well. After which, Kate weaves together layers of sounds from a variety of instruments.

Depending on the type of session, the sonic portion can be either 60 or 90 minutes in length. Once Kate concludes the session, the ting shaws are rung to signal the end of the session. At that point, the participants are gently guided to “come back” at their own pace.

When they are ready, they may move to a seated position. Tea is then served while continuing to integrate their experience and vibrations in silence. Once everyone in the group is sitting and has received tea, participants will have the opportunity to share their experience if they so choose. They may ask questions, however, no one is obligated to speak at that time. It is important to honor one’s personal process, needs, and feelings. Participants are able to remain in that space of inner peace/quiet and simply enjoy being in their transformed vibrational state. They are free to leave at any point once the session has concluded.

We ask that participants are respectful of other guest’s integration process as well as their own. Therefore we advise not to switch on one’s phone until leaving the venue. Please be quiet when leaving the space so not to disturb others who may not have “fully returned” from their journey.

I heard that a Sound Bath can sometimes elicit an emotional release, what does that mean?

We are ultimately vibration. Our vibrational body seeks to be in a state of harmony (wellness). Through Entrainment and the Principles of Harmonic Resonance, vibrations produced during a session work on all parts and systems of our physical body: the fascia, connective tissue, joints, blood, nerves, glands, organs, etc., all the way down to the cellular level.

We hold emotions and memories in our physical body and energetic field. When powerful healing vibrations from sacred instruments are introduced to our vibrational bodies, the vibrations interact. The result can be the body responding with a release of deep-rooted tensions and emotional blocks. Vibrational dissonance (energy) is released.

One may feel an emotion move through the body which can trigger tears, vocal sounds, sighs of relief/release, or simply deep exhalations of the breath. It is important to not suppress the expression of such sounds when emotions come to the surface. Human emotions have their immediate expression through sound, and it’s often the repression of the sound that creates emotional blockages. Conversely, sound can be used to unlock the blocked emotions and release them with ease and grace.

When the hot energy of anger is released from the body the client might feel a definite change in temperature and suddenly feel cold. This is one of the reasons why we provide blankets and invite you to bring a scarf or sarong to the session. We never can predict if or when this will happen, so it’s better to be prepared when it does to ensure optimal comfort.

Will I feel pain or discomfort during the session?

Sometimes the cellular memory from a trauma or past injury can be reactivated in a session. If there was a sprain, for example, the area of the body where the injury occurred may ache or become sensitive or slightly painful temporarily during the session. The pain typically goes away during the session when a different instrument is played and the sound changes or once the new organization of vibrations have integrated within the person’s bodies. Integration can happen even more completely when the sound stops and the client is able to process in silence. The duration of this processing time is different for everyone. However, typically clients notice that aches and pains have disappeared once they sit up and begin to move around.

Discomfort such as heaviness/pressure upon the chest or when breathing can sometimes occur. Sadness, anger, grief, depression, or not taking life in fully, can be the reasons behind these sensations. These emotions are often brought to the surface and into our awareness so that they can be released and transformed. There are techniques that can help move these sensations through the body.

Whenever a discomfort of any sort is felt, one can use the breath to support the shift and release of energy. Exhale and let go. Surrendering to the sensations of the moment helps immensely. By allowing them to be there, felt without resistance, without trying to control, one can better help facilitate a deep transformation. In this case, the discomfort will move through more quickly than if one is in resistance.

What are some things people experience in a Sacred Sound Bath?

The inherent power of sacred and ancient instruments coupled with the power of benevolent intent can tune our mind, body, and soul back to harmony. Healing frequencies give you exactly what you need in the moment: creative solutions, artistic inspiration, improved sleep, deep relaxation, inner peace, pain relief, or they can uplift and energize you.

Therapeutic sound in a Sacred Sound Bath can also trigger feelings of dematerialization, floating, timelessness, and expansion of consciousness outside of one’s body. In many cases, physical ailments improve and in some are resolved completely. Emotional memories can be released and parts of the mind that are usually inaccessible can be accessed.

Often mental chatter stops and the mind becomes more calm. For some, thought patterns or a new perspective on one’s busy mind can be revealed. Sometimes people connect to or receive messages from other beings, their guides, or gain a deeper connection to one’s True Self through communication and greater understanding.

The experience will be completely personal according to the individual’s energetic (vibrational) state and universal timing. Each session experience is different and unique.

What if I fall asleep during the session?

It is natural and common for the body to respond to the experience that way. As you let go more and more and become deeply relaxed it’s easy to drift off to sleep. Don’t worry; the vibrations will still have a powerful effect on your body and spirit. You may miss out on the auditory experience, but not the vibrational experience. It’s okay to fall asleep as it is a very receptive state.

Trust that sleep is what you need in the moment and try not to fight it. It is a very healing and restorative way to be, free of mind chatter and analyzing. The sounds can also do the work without us trying to mentally control and direct, which can often happen if one is awake.

Why are we lying down during a sound bath?

Lying down allows the body and muscles to fully relax without physical effort to maintain a posture. When we are fully relaxed, our tissues, joints, muscles, etc. and all our body systems can easily regenerate and revitalize.

Preparing yourself for a session with Kate

How do I best prepare myself before a session?

It is important to be rested and well-hydrated in order to get the most out of one’s session. Drinking water before a session is helpful.

It’s important to be clear on what issue you want to work on during the session, as well as having a clear idea of the desired outcome. All of this will be helpful for Kate to know how to best approach the session and to select the most suitable sound treatments.

Coming into the session with an open mind, with an attitude/intention of wanting positive change and being ready for positive change is also important. Meditation prior to a session is also helpful in tuning in as well as asking for guidance.

Kindly also check our Blog Post "Preparing Yourself for a Session". Here you will find a much more detailed list of tips for best ways to prepare.

Is it best to eat before or after the session?

We would recommend eating something light prior to a session and a larger meal following. It is not recommend to eat a heavy meal prior to the session and having the body’s energy be focused on digestion.

Is there anything I should bring to a session?

Wear comfortable modest clothing and perhaps bring an extra layer for comfort and body temperature changes.

Water will be provided, however, some prefer to also bring their own personal water bottle. The bonus and added benefit being that you can take home water that has been charged with sacred sonic energy-a special infusion of the harmonic frequencies from your own personalized session.

You may also like to write down your experience after the session or any insights you experience. If this is the case, then please bring along your personal journal and pen.

*Please note that electronic devices are not allowed in the sound bath space. Cupboards are provided to store your shoes, motorbike helmet, and other personal items.

How many sessions should I attend and how often?

How many sessions should I attend?

If this modality resonates with you, we recommend attending more than one session. We can attend multiple sessions and address deeper layers and aspects of ourselves or intentions. Each session works on what is present energetically and vibrationally that day. Thus each session is different because our energies vary from day to day.

The composition of people attending the group sessions are different vibrationally from one to the next as well. When there are unique individual vibrations interacting with the instrumental vibrations and the other participants in the room you ultimately have all those in attendance playing a part in creating a unique (once in a lifetime) experience for everyone.

The gongs respond to the participants and the vibrations in the room. Unlike wind, string, or other percussive instruments, the sound sequences, rhythms, and tonal patterns cannot be repeatedly produced on demand. The overtones, and instrumental expressions that sound and are perceived by the listener are unique to the moment and the participant.

Furthermore, Kate, herself, is also different from one day to the next. How she interacts with what she encounters in the room, and the instruments, on any given day is always intuitive and perceived in the moment. Her sessions are fully customized so you will never hear/experience the same session twice.

How often can I attend a session?

Ideally, I would recommend giving yourself adequate integration time between sessions. The timing of this is very personal and different from one individual to another. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. So trust your intuition and what feels right for you.

It’s beneficial to be aware of the changes brought about from a session and to fully process them before attending another session. For most, this means about a week. However, this is not imperative. And certainly if you’re a tourist/traveller, you might like to experience multiple sessions before leaving the area.

I attended several Sacred Sound Baths and every experience has always been different. Why is that?

Everyone changes from one day to the other. Since we are all vibrational beings, the vibrational state we are in is different from one day to the next. The vibrations of the instruments are interacting with everyone in the room, including the player. So this creates a different experience each time. We all are interacting with each other’s vibration as well. So a release or awareness may be triggered (due to sympathetic vibration and quantum entanglement) depending upon who is in the room and what vibrational state they are in.

Expect the unexpected. Keep in mind, every session is different - even the first one - for everyone. Be receptive, keep an open mind, and allow yourself to be surprised.

Private Sessions

How many issues can be addressed in one session?

Multiple issues can be addressed in one session. The intention will be set in the beginning of the session. However, the depth of transformation and resolution of the issue depends on readiness and receptivity, as well as how long a pattern or trauma has been in one’s energetic field. Issues often have many layers to them and are connected to multiple chakras. Not all chakras can be fully addressed in one session so it is recommended to plan on several sessions to completely resolve an issue.

How do I get best prepared for a session?

It is important to be rested and well-hydrated in order to get the most out of one’s session. It’s good to drink water right before the start of your live/remote session or listening experience for several reasons. Being well-hydrated is important for fluidity and resonance of the sound waves throughout the body and deep into the cells. The vibrations can create heat within the body during the listening experience. So it’s important to drink water prior to the session or as needed during the session to counteract any loss and prevent dehydration or headaches. Water helps in the elimination process of toxins from the body as well as supporting multifaceted energetic shifts.

It’s important to be clear on what issue you want to work on during the session, as well as having a clear idea of the desired outcome. All of this will be helpful for Kate to know how to best approach the session.

Remote Sessions

What is a remote session?

A Remote Session is a session done at a distance (remotely), where the client/participants are not present in the room with the instruments. Sound vibrations are transmitted non-locally through the aether to the client. Kate works on the holographic body of the client as if they were physically present in her studio. Find additional information here.

Who are these sessions for?

Remote sessions are for those who are unable to come to Kate’s studio in person or prefer to be in their own space.

As described in the FAQs above, Sacred Sound Healing Sessions are for anyone wishing to experience them. Ideally for those desiring to go deeper into their journey of Self and for those seeking greater awareness/higher consciousness. Sound Baths and vibrational treatments are highly beneficial for those who seek support in restoration of health/wellness or support in maintaining their well being.

One does not have to be ill, or in need of “healing” in order to attend or enjoy the benefits of a Sacred Sound Bath/Session. Sound Healing brings deep relaxation and peace to the body, mind, and spirit, and it’s probably safe to say that we all could use more of that in our daily lives.

Sound Healing and Sound Baths in general are great experiences to also boost your creativity, align you with your purpose/mission in life, bring you into a state of flow, and deepen/intensify your connection with Source Energy. For more detailed information about the benefits and common outcomes/most powerful transformations, Sound Healing can bring about, see the list in this FAQ.

How does a remote session work?

Sound vibrations are transmitted non-locally through the aethers to the client or group. The vibrations are projected onto the client’s holographic body much like Reiki Distance Healing works. The process of connection occurs at the level of the quantum-by tapping into pure potentiality of the Zero Point Field-and through the morphogenetic field vibrational information is directed through pure positive intention, and guidance from Higher Intelligence of Universal Energy/Divine Source.

An introduction and short discussion will take place at the beginning of the session via Zoom and at the end of the session to debrief. The client or Kate may feel the need to share important information that comes up during the experience which is very okay and part of the process. The entire session can take place over Zoom so that the client can hear the frequencies/sounds being applied in real time. However, please know that the clear audibility of the frequencies/sounds is not a requirement for the frequencies and sounds to effectively work on the client.

Once I am in the session, what can I do to get the most out of my experience?

Relax your body as much as possible and follow your intuition. If you feel the need to sleep, please allow yourself to do so. If you need to yawn, then yawn (no need to cover your mouth in this instance either, as the gesture actually stifles the energy flow). It’s important to soften your facial muscles and allow the jaw to drop slightly. This helps the energy release more easily and flow more freely with the breath. If you feel the need to exhale audibly or sigh to relieve tension then please do so. Go with whatever sound comes up without hesitation or judgement. This is really important.

Responding to energy as it comes to the surface by using your breath and vocalizations will help free it. It is often the vocal expression of reactive emotions that gets suppressed when we experience a traumatic event. And so it is through the sounding and voicing as emotions come to the surface in a safe therapeutic environment that energy can be fully released.

Allow your body to adjust as you feel the need. You don’t have to force yourself to remain perfectly still the entire time. If you need to get up for a stretch or take a bathroom break or a drink of water, then please don’t hesitate to let Kate know.

Have a clear intention of why you are there and set an intention for that at the beginning of the session. You can do this either by connecting to your heart and making an affirmative statement like, “ I intend to release ___ and transform ___ in this session.” Or perhaps something like, “I would like to see/experience ___ in my life. It is intended that this experience is downloaded into this session in the highest and best way, with ease and grace.” Then let go and surrender to the sounds.

You can also tune into your heart and visualize the desired outcome. Even imagine/sense the feelings that come with that desired outcome. After which, simply let go of your intention and tune in to the present moment. Observe what you’re experiencing during the session without judgement. Try not to have any expectations about how or when your intention will show up. Simply be. Be with the sounds as they take you on a magical journey.

Allow the sounds to support you and your intention. Trust that your intention was set. No need to become mentally preoccupied by focusing on your intention throughout the entire session. Allow it to move into the background. Believe that you can receive the desired outcome. It truly is possible!

What am I supposed to do during a remote session?

Lie down on your back in a comfortable, quiet space where you will have privacy for the full duration of your session. During a Session- Remote Sessions included- it is ideal when the client is in a relaxed, yet alert state, free of distractions or interruptions. Observing shifts and sensations in the body, being the witness, without being attached to them is highly beneficial. Simply acknowledge what shows up and allow it to move through and transform.

If anything significant comes up, that you feel compelled to share with Kate in any moment, please do. This is part of the healing and transformation process. Also please understand that extensive sharing during the work with sound can consume substantial time and focus. This is by no means saying that extensive discussion is a detriment or not important. On the contrary, voicing and expressing is vibrational work in itself. Discussing what has surfaced and is felt in the session may be exactly what is needed to fully process and ultimately let go of the disharmonious energetic imprint of a past experience, consequently releasing what was stuck and trapped in a “holding/looping pattern.”

It is possible that you may drift off into a state between sleeping and being fully awake or even fall asleep completely. Yes, snoring for a period of time can also happen. Don’t worry this is normal and very okay. It is a sign of deep surrender and often the body’s response to energetic transformations- exactly what is necessary for the shifts to fully occur and integrate on multiple levels.

How many issues can be addressed in one session?

Multiple issues or areas of concern can be addressed in one session. The intention will be set in the beginning of the session. However, the depth of transformation and resolution of the issue depends on readiness and receptivity, as well as how long a pattern or trauma has been in one’s energetic field. Sometimes particular energies or subconscious beliefs need to change before the issue/area of concern can be resolved. Issues often have many layers to them and are connected to multiple chakras (energy centers of the body). They are multidimensional in scope because we are multidimensional beings. The “problems” we experience, the health issues, the concerns we have all connect to various aspects of ourselves. That is why working holistically is so important and addressing the root cause rather than the symptoms. Not all chakras can be fully addressed in one session so it is recommended to plan on several sessions to completely resolve an issue.

Sound Healing Instruments

Which instruments are used in Sound Healing?

Depending on the practitioner and their approach they may use: gongs, singing bowls (metal or crystal), didgeridoo, drums, flutes, Peruvian whistling vessles, shakers and rattles of various types, chimes, bells, tuned pipes, shruti box, harmonium, voice, tuning forks or tone generators… I personally create a transformative soundscapes using various combinations of sacred instruments. In my current collection, I have symphonic, planetary, and wind gongs, singing bowls (both crystal and Himalayan), flutes, drums, shakers, rainsticks, chimes and bells, conch, ting shaws, and Shruti box. I use my voice and overtone singing as well.

In my private sessions, I utilize a large Meridian Bowl in which the client stands for therapeutic treatments. I also have a large collection of both weighted and non-weighted tuning forks that I use extensively in one-on-one sessions. These allow me to select specific frequencies for more direct and precise work on the body and in the biofield. Each instrument plays an important role in the tapestry of sounds that I weave into each and every session.

Why are certain instruments used in Sound Healing?

Ancient healing instruments such as gongs and singing bowls instantly bring about a meditative state of deep relaxation, allowing the body to heal and revitalize. By activating the parasympathetic nervous system, the over-amped/overtaxed nervous system can be brought back into balance. Stress reduction is one of the most important results of sound healing since stress is the underlying cause of many physical conditions.

These instruments induce holistic resonance in the body resulting in expanded awareness and wholeness. Sound healing uses the power of ancient sacred healing instruments to support self-healing, transformation, and ultimately well-being.

Some of the hand-hammered singing bowls are made with mantras encoded into them. The master craftsmen sing/chant into the bowl while creating them. Thus when the bowl is played, not only is the frequency being projected but the mantras that are encoded within it are also activated and resonating along with the frequency.

All of the instruments: shakers, rainsticks, bells, and chimes, etc. have their own specific use and role in the transformational process. The drum, for example, was one of the original transformative instruments used thousands of years ago by Siberian Shamans. It can be used for various reasons, a few examples may be to help ground the person or to move energy through the body.

Its beat symbolizes the heartbeat of Mother Earth, connecting us to our own heart and that of the cosmos. Through frequency and rhythm, the drum has the power to bring one into a trance, enabling altered states of consciousness, expanding our vision, allowing us to see more of the whole, and even the meaning behind the whole experience.

Which instruments does Kate work with?

Kate plays a combination of a variety of symphonic and wind gongs, singing bowls (both crystal and metal), flutes, drums, shakers, rainsticks, chimes and bells, conch, ting shaws, shruti box, and her voice in a session. In private sessions, Kate also uses a large Meridian Bowl in which the client stands as well as a variety of tuning fork frequencies.

Where do the instruments come from?

Our instruments come from all over the world.
